Joseph Oram Obituary

Joseph C. Oram, affectionately known as B.D. "Bull Dog", Papa Joe, Uncle Joe, and Joe Four, began his journey of life in Ogden, Utah, on July 3, 1962. His journey, filled with laughter, love, and the spirit of generosity, led him through 61 joy-filled years in Farr West, Utah, and Marriott-Slaterville. In every chapter of his life, Joe's unwavering love for family and friends, coupled with his infectious humor and supportive nature, made him a hero to many. Joseph's warmth and generous spirit were his legacy, leaving an imprint on the hearts of all who knew him.

Joseph's passion for life was evident in the over 40 years he devoted to Clifco Metal Mfg., an HVAC Manufacturing company he co-owned. His work ethic was as strong as his love for laughter, a trait that earned him respect from his colleagues and peers. But beyond his professional achievements, Joseph always found time to indulge in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid outdoorsman. His love for hunting, fishing, and camping was matched only by his enthusiasm for gold, rock hounding, golfing and teasing with the ones he loved. His hobbies mirrored his personality - adventurous, fun-loving, and full of life.

Joseph's life was enriched by his loving family. He found his soulmate in Jackie Oram, with whom he shared over a decade of marital bliss since their union on October 15, 2013. He is survived by his former wife Julie Allen and their sons Travis (Chantel) Oram, Shawn (Jamie) Oram, JC (Micaela) Oram, as well as son Jeff (Autumn) Dabb and his step-children Chase Stone, Morgan Stone, Jenna (Shad) Roberts. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren: Bernie Nelson, Dylan Oram, Ryker Oram, Cambri Cooper, Emberlee Oram, Bailey Oram, Taylor Wilson, Briley Oram, Kendall Monroe, Myla Monroe, Aubree Oram, Rory Oram, Trezlyn, Ryaott, Stella and Carter. Additionally, his siblings Janet (Dick) Ballingham, Clifford J Oram Jr., Becky (Dave) Caldwell, and Karlene (Jess) Hansen also survive him. Joe is preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Ila Oram and his sister Susan (Bruce) Bybee. His memory lives on vibrantly in the countless lives he touched. We as a family would like to thank IHC Home health care and their nursing staff for the care and support that they provided Joseph.

A service will be held in honor of Joe on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 1-4pm at Elks Lodge: 1875 W 5200 S St Roy, UT 84067. We invite all those whose lives were touched by Joe to join us in celebrating his wonderful life.
