Randy Howard Gibby
March 9, 1962 – June 5, 2014

Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Randy Howard Gibby passed away, after a battle with a very long illness, Thursday, June 5th, at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden.

He was born March 9, 1962 in Brigham City, Utah to Howard Gibby and Leah Oman.

Randy graduated from Weber High School where he was active in baseball and wrestling.

He had a great love for the outdoors. He enjoyed competitive sports, camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends. He particularly enjoyed having a close companionship with his hunting dogs. He spent many of his adult years living with his favorite uncle (Arthur Gibby) who encouraged and shared a love for the outdoors.

Randy had a love for life. He wanted to be happy and wanted everyone he met to be happy. He was a real prankster and always said he just wanted people to stop taking life so seriously. He was always playing jokes on everyone he came in contact with because he just wanted to make people laugh.

He worked at Lowes in customer service and a variety of vocations (also with a strong preference for being outdoors) driving trucks, building homes and waterslides.

Randy is remembered with love by his mother and father, his sisters, Julie (Ralph) Yeates and Janean Gibby; two nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at11 a.m. at the Roy City Cemetery, 2300 W. 5300 So. A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 8th at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. from 6 to 8 p.m.
