After high school and goofing off fro a couple of years, I joined the US Navy in 1983. Went to boot camp in Illinois and was trained in electronics before attending Nuclear Power school in Orlando, FL. Went back to electronics school before being stationed in San Diego, CA aboard the USS Durham (LKA-114). Served two Westpac cruises to the Orient and Pacific area. Been to Hawaii, the Phillippines, Korea, Okinawa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia and Mexico. Honorably Discharged in 1989.
Returned to Utah after a year in San Diego (way too expensive) where I met my wife who is 9 years younger than me. We were married in the Logan Temple in 1991 and just celebrated 29 years together.
Received my BS in Accounting from Weber State University in 1998 and then my MBA from Utah State University in 2000, but I am a avid Ute fan (no blue here).
Have been an accountant, accounts receivable manager and controller. I have worked for the Church of Jesus Christ for the last 17 years in Risk Management as a International Financial Analyst and love it. I have been a Bishop (my old high school partying buddies never saw that one coming).
Love to play golf any chance I get and can still shoot in the high 70's low 80's consistently. We love to travel as a family, although I am slowly moving from Camping to Condos. Love the Napa Valley, Disneyland and Mt. Rushmore.
